Make Gingerbread Houses or have kids color a gingerbread house. 5. Math activity - Make ten construction paper cutouts of gingerbread kids. Number each with 1-10. Kids then place the correct amount of buttons or other manipulative to correspond with that number. Make felt gingerbread man shapes to practice counting, adding, and subtracting. (Gingerbread man pattern) 6. Put on a play! Jan Brett's version, Gingerbread Baby, is a great one to use.
